Training course “Experiential outdoor education as a tool for inclusion”

Topic and methodology
The aim of the project is to capacitate multipliers of non-formal (informal and formal) education to empower young people with and without special needs with the help of experiencial outdoor education activities and, in this way, to promote their inclusion in our society. There will be a special focus on gender.
The experiential outdoor education is a tool which offers the opportunity to experiment challenges through a series of cooperative activities which are stimulating the social and personal growth. In this training the participants will learn to apply methods of experiential outdoor education with groups of young people with diverse capacities and to adapt the methods to the target group and the special needs of young people. We will apply methods of experiential outdoor education like interactive games, cooperative activities in mobile rope courses, orienteering or climbing with cases, as well as different tools of reflection, theoretical inputs, presentation of good practices and the implementation of the learning outcome in a morning of Open doors.
The main language of this training course is English.
